What do you mean by dental hygiene?
Dental hygiene refers to the care of your teeth to prevent them from any dental disease. It also includes dental insurance for future safety. It includes brushing care, flossing care, and home care. By taking care of all the above we can prevent dental diseases and maintains healthy teeth.
Brushing- It is the most important task for everyone to keep their teeth healthy. There are some guidelines for proper brushing. First brush your teeth twice a day. At morning brush your teeth without eating and at night don’t eat after brush. Change your brush every three months. Make a 45 degree angle while brushing and scrub them gently.
Flossing- It is used to remove eatables remains between your teeth. First take about 18 inches of floss and then wrap it around your middle fingers of both the hands. After that start sliding floss between your teeth till it reaches the gum. Move it up and down gently between the teeth and clean your teeth.
Home care- Home care is also the important part of dental care because good food habits prevent your teeth from any dental disease. A nutritious diet makes your teeth healthy. You should avoid hard candy, ice, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, and sweets. You should consult your dentists every three months.
